I am looking to dump some money into my 92 twin turbo. I want to get some turbos to set aside until I get some side mounts and some ic piping, and I already have 2.5" Z1 4 bolt downpipes/test pipes (not installed yet) and then a Stillen cat back. I already have 550cc injectors, an ECU upgrade, and a Selin dual maf setup and enough clutch to hold it. I am looking at some of the "t28" turbos, either some used Sport 500s, or GT 525s, or maybe even the Gpop Shop "t28" turbos which are about $1300 new when I send in a core. So either used JWT/Z1 or new Gpop Shop turbos for about $1300, or send my Z1 GT600 turbos off to Coz to have new CHRAs put in for about the same price? I'm curious which is more fun for the buck, the "t28" turbos running higher boost, closer to their max efficiency range, or the GT600s running lower boost so I don't have to worry about maxing out my injectors or forcing too much air into the motor and hastily shortening its life span or any other problems associated with running a much bigger turbo on stock internals.
